GTA Spano at another successful edition
Last weekend the city of Santander was once again the scene of a new edition of “Supersportcars Cantabria", which was another successful event with more than 200 cars participating, and with GTA Spano as one of the main references.
This year “Supersportcars Cantabria” held its ninth edition, and has become one of the most important international supersportcar meetings. It took place with GTA Spano as the main attraction.
During this edition, the event organisers, headed by Jesús Solano, decided to make a selection in which only the cars that cost over 300,000 euros were admitted to raise in this way the level of participating automobiles.
Along with the Spanish supersport car, numerous luxury sportcars were present, with participants from the UK, France and Portugal, as well as a representative selection of classic cars that enhanced this event’s international position.
“Supersportcars Cantabria” officially started on Thursday 19th with a route through Cantabrian locations. On Friday 20th, the #santander City Council welcomed all the participants to the Magdalena Palace in Santander after a route through different towns. On Saturday 21st, as is now the custom, vehicles were exhibited in theParque de las Llamas, Afterwards the organisers gave the participants the starting signal to the programed routes during the weekend.
Several Cantabrian mountain locations were the scene of this amazing traffic backup, in which participants enjoyed with the best gastronomy at restaurants awarded with a Michelin Star and Repsol Suns.
