New VW Commercial Vehicles plant celebrates opening in Poland
In just 23 months, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has built the new production site for the VW Crafter in Września, #poland. It is 220 hectares in size and is expected to produce up to 100,000 units of the new Crafter in the future. On this production line, up to 69 different Volkswagen Crafter versions will be built in the new Volkswagen factory. Around 1,000 guests from the world of politics and business as well as representatives of the workforce and trade unions appeared at the opening ceremony. We had the chance to take a look at the plant and talk with some of the people responsible.
