ISA shipyard relaunch backed by major investments

The new shed for megayacht construction will be ready in late June  2017. A dry dock for yachts over 60 meters is also planned.

ISA Yachts announces new strategies and major investments. #isashipyard, recently named Palumbo #ancona Shipyard Isa srl, is evolving continuously and will become the hub for luxury #yacht production within the #palumbogroup.The investment plan got underway with the start of work on the two facility expansion projects announced and the acquisition of cutting edge equipment. The investments have two goals: to increase the shipyard’s production capacity and to enhance the after sales and refitting services. The construction work that began a few weeks ago is proceeding rapidly on the shed, which will be large enough to accommodate simultaneously two yachts measuring over 80 metres.
“This is an important project for the shipyard’s development,” explains Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of ISA Yachts “which will allow to build two megayachts at the same time. Market demand from owners is converging on big hulls and we want to be ready to make the most of this challenge”. The shed, which has required a major investment, will be ready by the end of June.
