Four Seasons Resort Oahu celebrates hawaii’s culinary culture with "taste of the seasons"

7th Annual #hawaii #food & Wine Festival is the premiere epicurean #event in the PacificOctober 26, 2017,

As one of the premier epicurean events in the Pacific, Taste of the Seasons showcases #hawaii cuisine and culture with a star-studded lineup in Ko Olina as part of the seventh annual #hawaii #food & Wine Festival, on November 4, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.

Now in its seventh year, #hawaii #food & Wine Festival has expanded from a three-day festival with 30 chefs to the State’s largest #food and wine #event with more than 100 chefs featured across three islands. One hundred twenty world-class chefs, fifty winemakers, and a dozen mixologists will bring their talents together in paradise for the seventh annual #hawaii #food & Wine Festival.

Taste of the Seasons, presented by Four Seasons in partnership with #koolinaresort, showcases the bounty of locally caught, grown or raised ingredients, inviting culinary masters from across the continent to create dishes from a list of 150 local products.

“The emphasis in Ko Olina is on sustainable local #food production,” says Martin Knaubert, Director of #food & Beverage and former Executive Chef at Four Seasons Resort #oahu at Ko Olina. “It’s a celebration of the Waianae coast, the #food, the culture and the #people of #hawaii.”

Twelve master chefs will wow local and international guests with culinary creations inspired by foliage of autumn, cold of winter, rebirth of spring and the heat of summer as they stroll from station to station.

In keeping with tradition, Four Seasons Resort #oahu will present a #butchershoponthebeach, with charcuterie boards featuring country pate, rillettes and porchetta di testa, linguicia with pickled pineapple, shaved red onion and fresh cilantro, house beer bread and char sui pork with steamed buns, scallion and pickled plum.

General Admission tickets are USD 250, offering guests the opportunity to walk along Ko Olina’s stunning white sand beach cove for a tantalising taste of Hawaii’s seasonal produce, and foods raised or caught in the Islands.

A sold out VIP dinner experience on the beach features a five-course sit-down feast with wine pairings and a spectacular fireworks finale. Featured VIP Dinner Chefs in 2017 include Michelle Bernstein (Crumb on Parchment, Miami, Florida) Jose Garces (Garces Group, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), Hubert Keller (Fleur by Hubert Keller, Las Vegas, Nevada), Richard Rosendale (Rosendale Collective, Virginia) and Nancy Silverton (Mozza Restaurant Group, Los Angeles, California).

Also featured at the 7th Annual #hawaii #food & Wine Festival is James Beard award-winning chef #michaelmina who will officially launch Mina’s Fish House in partnership with Four Seasons Resort #oahu on December 18, 2017.
