The world’s best automobile in its most exclusive form: It was with this statement that the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class made its debut on the eve of Auto Guangzhou 2014. At the world premiere in South China’s economic powerhouse, Mercedes-Benz presented the flagship model in its new sub-brand, which stands for the very highest exclusivity and unparalleled comfort – the Mercedes-Maybach S 600. It rides on a wheelbase that is 20 centimetres longer than the long-wheelbase S-Class and is driven by a 390 kW (530 hp) V12 engine.
