The jury will select the winners of the #eckart 2017 in the categories “Art of Cookery”, “Innovation” and “Art of Living”. Since 2013, an #eckart for “Creative Responsibility and Enjoyment” has also been presented, with a cash award endowed by the #bmw Group. In this category, the jury draws on the expertise of former #eckart winners, who are strongly represented by names including Jon Rose, Claus Meyer and Sebastian Copeland. 2017’s #eckart award winners will be announced during the summer. The #eckart 2017 award ceremony in Paris this autumn marks the first step in the further internationalisation of the award, with other stops around the world to follow. Next year already, the #eckart 2018 will be presented outside of Europe. Sustainability has been an integral part of the #bmw Group’s (since 2012 official partner of Witzigmann Academy) #corporate strategy for many years, with sustainable development firmly established as a #corporate target at Group level: from the development of alternative, fuel-saving vehicle concepts through environmentally-compatible production processes to eco-friendly recycling methods. At the #bmw Group, sustainable thinking and action influences not only the product, but the entire value chain.
