This February, Four Seasons #hotel #newyork invites guests to experience its #excellence in creating hand-crafted, bespoke cocktails at TY Bar, including a series of tea-inspired cocktails as part of Cocktail Quarterly, and a very special, limited time Cocktail and #chocolate Valentine’s Day Menu for the holiday weekend.
Seasonal Tea Box Cocktails: Tea time merges with tipples as Four Seasons #hotel #newyork launches four new tea-inspired cocktails. Each beverage is inspired by the four seasons in a year, and showcases the versatility of tea and its numerous varieties. Whether used as an infusion in spirits, syrups or simply by itself to enhance a cocktail with its natural herbal and botanical flavours, TY Bar’s Tea Box Cocktails invite guests to seek out the myriad flavour profiles a tea cocktail can possess, from sweet to bold, nutty to smoky, spicy, fruity and more. Selections include:
- Honey Earl Grey featuring chilled Earl Grey tea, Hendricks gin, honey syrup and lemon juice; served over an orchid ice ball in a martini glass
- Black Cherry Chai featuring chai-infused Hudson Valley rye whiskey, with freshly squeezed lemon and honey syrup
- Chamo-Quila Sour featuring chamomile-infused simple syrup, with lime, Maestro Dobel tequila and rimmed with salt
- Ruby Rooibos featuring tangerine rooibos brewed tea and brewed iced tea, mixed with Grey Goose Cherry Noir, Cherry Jeering Liqueur and lime
These cocktails are a part of the third theme – tea and coffee cocktails – for Cocktail Quarterly, an ongoing year-long initiative from Four Seasons, dedicated to highlighting unique cocktail themes, trends and property offerings.
A Romantic Weekend at Four Seasons #hotel #newyork (February 12-14, 2016): Sweep a sweetheart off their feet this Valentine’s Day with a romantic weekend at Four Seasons #hotel #newyork. Escape from the bustle of the city with brunch in The Garden, the Hotel’s restaurant. Guests can indulge in holiday specials such as the Lobster in Lovefeaturing butter-poached Maine lobster served over a decadent red wine risotto, garnished with Hearts on Fire micro greens and shaved black truffles, for a final luxurious touch. Guests can also enjoy elevated takes on comforting breakfast favourites, such as panettone French toast with caramelised apples and drizzled with maple syrup; warm pastrami tartine with poached eggs and mushroom gravy; and white corn cheddar grits served with chorizo and eggs.
In the evening, stop by TY Bar, the stylish, soaring art deco-inspired bar across from The Garden, to indulge in a special Cocktail and #chocolate Pairing Menu created exclusively for Valentine’s Day, including:
- Love Blush Gimlet (Grey Goose Citron vodka, cranberry, agave, lime) paired with a fresh yuzu marshmallow: A citrus-forward libation is taken to the next level with a plush yuzu marshmallow, dipped in white #chocolate, which complements the lime flavour of the gimlet. Hints of candied rose petals add a softness to the experience.
- Cupid’s Quiver (Grey Goose vodka, Lillet Rouge, lemon), paired with an anise citrus ganache bonbon:Rich fruity notes from the Lillet Rouge cut through the pleasantly bitter flavours of anise while zesty citrus compliments the rich #chocolate ganache.
- NY de Fleur (Ketel One vodka, St-Germain, Champagne, lemon), paired with a champagne and elderflower gelée bonbon:Bubbles balance bubbles in this sparkling pair; the combination of the elderflower gelée and Champagne bonbon not only enhance the floral notes of the drink’s St-Germain element, but also further highlight the beverage’s unique balance.
