Ital Auto’s Annual Drive from Singapore to Malaysia
Ital #auto has been the official importer of #ferrari, the definitive symbol of Italian racing pedigree and luxury lifestyle automobiles, to #singapore for almost a decade. In a continued commitment to building long term relationships with its esteemed owners, Ital #auto organises annual drives filled with thrilling turns, luxurious destinations and the most scrumptious local and exotic fare.
The activities for 2017 closed with the final drive to Kuala Lumpur, #malaysia. Departing from Gelang Petah, Johore, the convoy of close to 20 cars were all set for their drive up towards the Malaysian capital. However the first order of the day was breakfast, a 66-kilometre drive to Guang Fatt Wantan Mee for its traditional hand-made noodles and flavourful soup in a location lost to time. After the meal, the drive really began with almost 340-kilometres of open road which allowed the engines of the Maranello cars out for a good run.
For the trip, the group took up residence at the luxurious 5-star, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, one of the best hotels in the city and located within vicinity of the shopping and entertainment districts. After a rested night, the group drove 82-kilometres towards the state of Pahang to Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary in Temerloh. The only one of its kind in #malaysia, owners enjoyed an educational morning understanding human-elephant conflicts, habitat conservation and the importance of the species. After more driving, day came to a close with dinner at one of top restaurants in the peninsular, Oversea Restaurant.
After two days and over 60-hours of driving, the convoy made their way home. “We are always looking for ways to create special and memorable experiences for our owners,” said Nick Syn, Director at Ital #auto, “through the drives, activities and time spent together, I am delighted to see that it is indeed the shared passion for #ferrari that binds us all together”.
