AMELS and DAMEN at Monaco Yacht Show 2019
Meeting the broad spectrum of yachting needs
At this year’s Monaco #yacht Show, the diversity within the #amels and DAMEN range of yachting solutions will be hard to miss. With a variety of both #amels and DAMEN yachts on display at the show, we look forward to welcoming our clients on board to showcase our innovative range of luxury yachting solutions designed to meet the broad spectrum of yachting needs.
From 25 to 28 September, clients can expect to find an impressive collection of our yachts, namely AURORA BOREALIS, HERE COMES THE SUN, ELIXIR, JOY RIDER and SHADOW, enjoy our newly designed hospitality area and meet our strong and experienced team. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors and introducing our latest developments from #amels Limited Editions, #amels Full Custom, #amels Refit, DAMEN SeaXplorer and DAMEN #yacht Support.
Café #amels and DAMEN
Location JS6 - Appontement Jules Soccal (formerly known as T-Central)
With a fresh new look and contemporary two-tiered design, this year’s #amels and DAMEN stand will form our Monaco #yacht Show headquarters: a hub of hospitality where clients can make use of the Café style set-up, private meeting areas and view the extensive range of scale models on the second floor. Daily “Meet the Rockstar” events will be hosted in the afternoon, enabling press and visitors the chance to meet and greet some of the leading industry professionals on the stand. Adding a little Dutch - French fusion into the mix, Café #amels and DAMEN will be serving freshly baked ‘Stroopwafels’ (a classic Dutch sweet treat of thinly layered baked dough filled with a caramel syrup), along with the best coffee in Port Hercules!
HERE COMES THE SUN
HERE COMES THE SUN, making her first ever #yacht show appearance, will be showcasing at Quai Chicane together with #amels and Fraser Yachts.
The flagship 83-metre (272 ft) #superyacht HERE COMES THE SUN is the largest #amels #yacht built to date. For the first time since her delivery in 2017, she will be on display to the industry choosing Monaco #yacht Show as the platform for her #yacht show premiere. She was the first #amels 272 from our highly successful Limited Editions range and represents the pinnacle of modern yachting perfection. She is a #yacht for families to enjoy the best of ocean life on a grand and timeless scale
AURORA BOREALIS
Making her world premiere, AURORA BOREALIS, the first #amels 220, will be showcasing at Quai Chicane.
This 67.1-metre #amels 220 (220 ft) is impeccably modern, with a nod to the past. The large volume interiors recall the stylish enjoyment of the sea in the grand tradition of the great ocean liners. The design features seven suites for up to 14 guests, including two VIP Suites on Bridge Deck with full-height French balcony windows. The family friendly Sun Deck has a 7-person jacuzzi and air-conditioned Sky Lounge.
ELIXIR
ELIXIR will be being showcased at Appontement Jules Soccal by Y.CO together with #amels.
Delivered in June 2016, the 55-metre (180 ft) ELIXIR is an enchanting incarnation of the successful #amels 180. Together with exterior designer Tim Heywood, ELIXIR’s owner created a modern look characterised by jet black gloss and stainless steel around the superstructure and sumptuous interiors by designer Laura Sessa. On top of the #amels 180’s legendary seakeeping comfort and performance, ELIXIR also boasts wonderful connections to the sea. The magnificent outdoor spaces include a huge Sun Deck, folding bulwarks for Main Deck indoor dining with an al fresco feeling, plus an Owner’s Suite balcony.
JOY RIDER
JOY RIDER, making her world premiere, will be showcasing at Appontement Jules Soccal
The DAMEN #yacht Support JOY RIDER is the first of the newly developed 46-metre YS 4508 (151 ft) design and will be making her industry and show debut. Stand out features include an impressive high-performance deck crane, making use of the aft deck space for tenders and toys. The blend of #superyacht support and stand-alone functionality includes Sun Deck relaxation, a spacious Main Deck lounge, accommodation for 6 guests and 7 crew/staff; touch-and-go helipad and high comfort thanks to stabilisers and the yacht’s patented Sea Axe pedigree. The rugged exterior design disguises an accomplished yachting platform including wet exhaust, smooth power management, watermaker and large tank capacities, plus stores for provisions, petrol and beach party set ups. She is very capable, reliable and economical to maintain.
SHADOW
SHADOW will be showcasing at Quai Chicane with DAMEN, together with Seafoam Marine
SHADOW is a 55-metre (181 ft) DAMEN #yacht Support (previously NEW FRONTIERS) delivered in 2017. SHADOW was the first build of the successful YS 5009 design to feature dedicated guest accommodation, whilst still maintaining support #yacht functionality with a large deck area, high-performance crane and extra accommodation for 4 staff, pilots, security or guides. She is a great example of how this popular YS 5009 design continues to evolve and develop meeting specific yachting and client needs.
