Throw some plates against the wall: The Rosenthal Emergency Plates

Hurt this plate not yourself. As part of the cooperation project "Wunschkonzert" by Rosenthal with the Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart, the Polish designer Natalia Gajo has addressed the question of the extent to which happiness can be reproduced. Her solution is at once surprising, constructive and poetic. Natalia transforms conventional Rosenthal plates into so-called "Emergency Plates" and playfully encourages people to vent feelings of frustration, anger or rage on the porcelain rather than harming their fellow human beings or themselves. The shards of the broken plates are in turn supposed to bring good luck.

The edition is limited to 333 pieces.
