Alpiner Quartz Chronograph - Designed for Escape

At first glance, one will see a sporty, Swiss Made timepiece with a two-pusher compax chronograph and a high degree of finishing. At its heart beats a high-precision movement - in fact, more precise than any mechanical watch ever made, as the new Alpiner Chronograph is
equipped with a quartz caliber.

This is a new line for #Alpina. Never, until now, had the Geneva-based company offered a Quartz Chronograph version of its famous Alpiner. It is a new offering that follows in the footsteps of the legendary Alpiner4, born in 1938 - a watch that is antimagnetic, shock-resistant, water-resistant and made of stainless steel.

A common watchmaking heritage
Quartz movements have long since acquired the respect of watch connoisseurs and sportsmen alike. The technology was mastered 50 years ago, during the golden age of watchmaking and the birth of its greatest chronographs. Today, quartz is still appreciated on all continents, from Japan to Switzerland, for its reliability and precision, two of the essential qualities that have forged the power of Swiss watchmaking, to which #Alpina has been contributing for over a century.

Three new authentic Alpiner models
Strengthened by this heritage, the three new Alpiner Quartz Chronograph timepieces feature a large 42 mm steel case, luminescent hour and minute hands (central as well as for the chronograph), and a seconds counter at 3 o'clock with a red hand, recalling the sporty vocation of the piece. As always, the discreet #Alpina logo, symbol of the Alpine summits, stands out in the form of a red triangle as a counterweight to the central chronograph hand.
The power of quartz
As for the movement, the choice of a quartz calibre offers the new Alpiner Quartz Chronograph some exclusive advantages. The first: an exceptional longevity, with an autonomy of four and a half years, depending on its usage. Laid down for a day, a weekend, a month or even a year, the Alpiner Quartz Chronograph will always be perfectly operational, ready to climb new heights.
