Pedrali presents Elinor Low Back

Elinor low back, the new version of the executive armchair presented in 2018 by Claudio Bellini, incorporates the different attitudes and approaches to working life looking to the future: it is dynamic and designed with people’s wellbeing in mind.

The last few years, and most recently, the pandemic has led to the need to rethink the workspaces with new cross, hybrid areas that are far from the static traditional office. The line between home and work is becoming increasingly fine and work spaces have taken on new configurations: open plan offices continue to emerge promoting interaction and fluid exchange.

The new workspace is no longer just a work area, but a community space within which to foster human relations and sharing.

As the designer affirms, “domestic environments are becoming fluider and fluider. We’re not just coming in when we finish work : remote working led us to spend full days there. This is the reason why furniture must be more and more flexible and functional, in order to create tailor made, modular work spaces that can be rearranged according to the needs of the moment.”

Elinor Low Back is a multitasking product characterized by a high level of aesthetic quality that reflects the needs of a changing market.
Presented in Cologne on the occasion of
Orgatec 2022 and characterised by a lower backrest, Elinor Low Back armchair adds a new element to the collection and is designed to seamlessly fit both in office meeting rooms, executive offices and residential settings. Its visual styling is essential yet distinctive, and offers excellent performance thanks to its smart components which make it state-of-the-art yet inconspicuous, as they are integrated into the seat.

Elinor low back has an elegant height-adjustable base in die-cast aluminium, with aesthetically pleasing sinuous lines. A weight-activated synchro-tilt mechanism integrated in the upholstered seat allows the tilting to be self-regulated according to the user’s body weight, ensuring that the back is kept in the most comfortable position.

Other strong points of Elinor low back are its comfort and body-hugging feeling, thanks to the polyurethane injected foam on both seat and back. A light, slimline, strong armrest in die-cast aluminium defines the base of the backrest with its fluid line, accentuating the attention to detail that characterizes this unique chair.
