OCEAN 182 – EUROPEAN DEBUT

The second hull of the Ocean 182, built to a European specification, will have its European debut at boot Düsseldorf. Named after its gross tonnage, the Ocean 182 possesses over 2,000 square feet of interior space spanning three decks. The internal footprint is comparable to a much larger yacht, contributing to an overall feeling of spaciousness on board. With a significant interior volume and an infinity main deck layout, the Ocean 182 caters to an owner seeking unparalleled luxury and comfort. From the single helm on the upper deck to the spacious main deck saloon, every aspect of the Ocean 182 offers an extraordinary on board experience.

Powered by Twin MAN V12 1900 engines, the latest Ocean model to join the Sunseeker range achieves a comfortable top speed of 27 knots. Meanwhile, at a displacement speed of 12 knots, this yacht has an extended range of 1,100 nautical miles. The Ocean 182 benefits from a CMC fin stabilisation system providing an effective means of stability when underway and significant roll reduction while at rest or anchor.

With three main exterior spaces on board the Ocean 182, there is no shortage of outdoor space. The 6 metre by 4 metre Beach Club provides all the water-level essentials. The folding electric barbecue grill and two Sonance speakers with a Sonos Amp provide entertainment, while the hydraulic retractable SeaStair and bathing platform enable accessibility into and out of the water. The bathing platform has a maximum lifting capacity of 750 kilograms and can comfortably store a tender and jet ski. The award-winning Sunseeker X-TEND™ sunbed offers two seating arrangements to the aft cockpit and Beach Club. When not in use, there is ample space for water toys beneath the Sunseeker X-TEND™ which comes complete with four large lockers for general boat equipment, optimising the space and maximising functionality. The Beach Club leads to a generous aft cockpit with loose furniture complemented by additional refrigeration and an ice maker.

The foredeck is a social space with several seating arrangements capable of seating a large group. Twin chaise longues on the port and starboard side accompany a large sunpad forward. Beneath the windshield lies a comfortable bench seat, complete with drinks holders, marine speakers, refrigeration drawers, retractable mood lighting and a sail canopy for day to night cruising.

The Ocean 182 interior epitomises the floating penthouse concept. Those who step on board are immediately met with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors on the port side and matching windows on the starboard side providing uninterrupted views from bow to stern, connecting guests to the marine environment. The main deck is a dedicated space for socialising and entertaining, offering 671 square feet of living space with a stunning collection of contemporary loose furniture to fill the space. The saloon enjoys a trio of polished Minotti coffee tables complemented by a large, upholstered sofa crafted by expert Sunseeker joiners and upholsterers.

The unique spiral staircase with minimalist stair treads contributes to an unimpeded view from the inside. Forward of the staircase resides the semi-open galley with a pantograph door to the port side deck. Comprehensively equipped with Miele appliances, additional refrigeration and a 34-bottle wine cooler, the galley offers incredible space and storage. The open and bright galley features a new Nikola Tesla induction hob with integrated extraction that uses Autocapture technology to remove cooking odours from the atmosphere. On the starboard side, a generous dining table for eight guests and a bar forward becomes an ideal space for serviced or informal dining.

The fluidity between outdoor and indoor living spaces is unmatched in this yacht class. With fully retractable sliding doors, the upper deck can fully close to create a third indoor living space or left open to form an al-fresco balcony, offering the owner ultimate flexibility. The sole helm console on this yacht, situated on the upper deck, has not been seen on a Sunseeker before. Next to the helm, an L-shaped bar is conveniently located for service with crew or for owner use. The bar is well-equipped with refrigeration, ice maker and wash basin for convenience, servicing the indoor and outdoor upper deck spaces. Further aft, on the starboard side, there is an extension of the saloon with U-shaped seating and a fixed TV unit with storage on the port side. The upper saloon features elegant Porta Romana lighting fixtures that draw inspiration from British surrealist artist Paul Nash and add a sense of calm and elegance to the large seating area. Beyond the upper saloon lies an outside space on the upper deck with loose lounge seating and expansive panoramic glazing offering far reaching views out to the horizon.

Below deck, the light and elegant accommodation comprises three well-appointed double cabins and a twin, all with en suite in a standard configuration. The full-beam owner's cabin positioned amidships is an indulgent escape for the owner, whilst the forward VIP provides an equally luxurious experience for guests.

Offering a contemporary yet timeless interior, the Ocean 182 benefits from a highly customisable interior to suit the owner's style and taste. The interior, curated in collaboration with Design Unlimited, is characterised by soft neutral tones and a sumptuous blend of textured materials. Every inch of this yacht is finished to an immaculate standard, showcasing recessed ambient mood lighting, stainless steel trim detailing, and specially designed feature bulkheads and cabinetry.

The Ocean 182 is a masterpiece of design and engineering, offering a new paradigm of space, comfort, and luxury on the water. From its flexible upper deck to the vast main deck, this yacht seamlessly blends sophistication and practicality. With its remarkable performance, innovative features, and exquisite interior, the Ocean 182 sets a new standard in refined and comfortable boating.

PREDATOR 75 – EUROPEAN DEBUT

The next generation of Sunseeker Predator looks better than ever with a stunning Midnight Grey Gelcoat and sleek Jet Black detailing to the exterior. The iconic coupé-style hardtop and coamings are finished in LSA black paint, lowering the overall profile of an already aggressive silhouette. Dual colour blue and white Lumishore underwater lighting and additional low level LED lighting transforms the Predator 75 into a striking feature at night.

Powered by twin MAN V12-1900 engines, the Predator 75 is a distinctive performance yacht built for long stretches aboard. An exciting new model that reaches top speeds of 40 knots, the latest addition to Sunseeker’s Predator range is fitted with a hydraulic bow and stern thruster, creating a stunningly smooth on the water experience whether at anchor or helming at speed.

The Predator 75 is a yacht purposefully designed to host gatherings with flair. The cockpit abounds with features crafted especially for entertainment and socialising. A sleek carbon fibre table takes centre stage, with a folding top fitted to polished stainless steel synchronised electric legs. This spacious arrangement provides an inviting focal point for up to six guests. Four Sonance Extreme Speakers and Sonos Amp create an immersive audio experience on board. With its seamless integration and impressive sound quality, it effortlessly fills the space with music, setting the perfect mood for a lively atmosphere. A convenient electric barbeque grill, 80-litre refrigerator and ice maker in the cockpit bring the ultimate outdoor dining experience to the open seas. Guests can savour freshly grilled delicacies while enjoying cool drinks, all within arms reach, making for unforgettable and luxurious onboard gatherings. During the day, an electric canopy extends over the social arrangement of seating, meanwhile dimmable lighting overhead and a privacy canopy brings an intimate atmosphere to the stern in the evening.

Up onto the foredeck, socialising takes place around a table with comfortable seating. Further forward, the sunpad features folding backrests and comfortable sunbathing cushions. No foredeck is complete without dual Sonance Extreme Speakers and two large drawer refrigerators fitted conveniently under the seating.

Within the inviting expanse of the saloon, relaxation and functionality converge seamlessly. The cockpit door slides to starboard and then the door and window descend beneath the seating, uniting the cockpit with the saloon. Plush seating arrangements complement a thoughtfully designed storage unit on the port side, complete with an integrated mini-bar refrigerator. The centrepiece of entertainment is a magnificent 55-inch UHD Smart 4K television equipped with Apple TV app and Airplay 2, promising a world of captivating content. Enhanced by an integrated surround sound system, the audio experience offers immersive entertainment. Furthermore, audio zoning is accessed easily through a tablet pre-loaded with the Sonos App.

The sophisticated helm console features a state-of-the-art steer-by-wire autopilot system for precise navigation, while the dual 19-inch Simrad multi-function displays offer comprehensive and real-time navigational data. The Sunseeker Cm8 power management and boat monitoring system ensures seamless control over the yacht systems on board, providing convenience and peace of mind. Comfortable helm seats offer ergonomic comfort for extended periods at the helm, and the dimmable overhead lighting sets the perfect ambience for cruising.

The lower galley is fully equipped with integrated Miele appliances, a full-height refrigerator and freezer, a slimline dishwasher and a 33-bottle wine cooler. Additionally, the galley benefits from a Quooker Flex Pro 3 Tap offering fully filtered, heated and sparkling water options. The connected breakfast bar features an eclectic mix of quarts worktops and a carbon fibre breakfast table top complemented by neutral soft furnishings and detailed bulkheads with inset stainless steel and symmetrical lighting detail. The lower saloon also comes with an HD television and Sonos sound bar. The lower deck offers sleeping accommodation for six guests and two crew with three, well-appointed guest cabins. The full-beam owners’ cabin has a dressing table fitted with storage, en suite and walk-in wardrobe.

The tropical air conditioning package offers exceptional cooling performance in hot climates, efficiently reducing indoor temperatures to create a comfortable and refreshing interior. Its advanced cooling technology and climate control features work together to ensure a comfortable atmosphere, making it a perfect solution for staying cool and relaxed in the Mediterranean sun.

About Sunseeker International Limited:

Sunseeker is the world’s leading brand for luxury performance motor yachts. Originally named Poole Power Boats, the company was founded by brothers Robert and John Braithwaite in 1969. The company changed its name to Sunseeker International in 1985 and has since become a global icon, with every Sunseeker the result of an uncompromising and unmatched approach to design, craftsmanship and performance.

In August 2013 a majority stake in the business was acquired by Wanda Group, the Beijing headquartered conglomerate with strong footprints across China, Europe and the US. Wanda Group is a committed long-term shareholder providing strong financial and strategic backing for Sunseeker’s continued growth and success.

From its manufacturing base in Poole, Dorset on the south coast of England, Sunseeker employs c.2,000 people and produces around 150 boats every year ranging from 38-161 feet with 98% being exported – see www.sunseeker.com

Poole is also the home to Sunseeker’s dedicated Design & Technology Centre, a unique facility which vertically integrates every detail of the yachts from the initial concept designs through to the finishing details including furniture, complex electrical systems, helm consoles and soft furnishings. As Sunseeker produces these components in its own dedicated facility, it is able to offer exceptionally high-quality control, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Sunseeker’s new product development strategy for 2019 – 2021, which saw the range nearly double from 11 – 20 models, was delivered on time and the brand continued to invest £35m CAPEX in facilities, people and products, with quality systems delivering continuous and further improvements. Investment continues apace with £40m committed to a renewed product development plan for 2022 – 2025. Sunseeker’s continual investment in research and development is evident, not only in the application of world-class innovation, but also in the design and construction of its boats. New materials and propulsion systems are continually developed and introduced to the range to offer improved environmental impact, better handling and better comfort on board. Going forward, Sunseeker is investing in new materials and features to improve sound and ambient air quality for its customers.

Sunseeker is close to launching its first production yacht with hybrid power. As early as 2009, the company laid the basis for a hybrid propulsion system on board in tests that were carried out on a prototype yacht – a truly pioneering step.

When customers want something even more distinctive, buyers of the larger Yacht and Superyacht models can benefit from the company’s ‘Bespoke’ customisation service which allows individual customers to personalise their yacht.

Demand for the company’s larger models continues to grow year-on-year with more than 140 yachts over 100 feet in length already delivered since 2000. This increase in demand for larger models has been the driving force behind the recent launch of the company’s Superyacht Division and its truly momentous plans to continue expanding this critical range.

Working very closely with over 100 retail and service locations in 74 countries, service and product support is a key priority in maintaining customer satisfaction.

As a prominent business within the county and one of Dorset’s largest employers, Sunseeker continues its work with charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that resonates with its employees who have already raised donations approaching £100,000 during just three years. In addition, it continues its support of their annual Dorset Bike Ride which has raised over £1million since Sunseeker’s involvement began.

The Sunseeker range constantly sets new standards and benchmarks. From the majestic Superyacht, Yacht, Ocean range, through to the luxurious Manhattan range, the iconic Predator models, dynamic Sports Yacht and the agile Performance range, each Sunseeker is the result of an uncompromising approach to innovative design and engineering excellence. Never settling for second best, it is this spirit of excellence that has driven Sunseeker to its pre-eminent position in the leisure marine industry today.
