Genesis "signature event" marketing campaign continues elevation of brand's advertising

  • New marketing campaign highlights design details of Genesis sedans and SUVs

Today, Genesis announced its new "Signature Event" marketing campaign, an expansion of the 'Luxe is in the Details' creative direction launched last year. The extended campaign series celebrates the distinctive details and features that speak to the consumer through state-of-the art production techniques and visuals with a newly crafted Genesis soundtrack. The campaign is scheduled to air nationally beginning today.

Genesis continues to break the mold of conventional storytelling, offering a refreshing approach to luxury automotive advertising in its new campaign. Genesis sets itself apart by emphasizing simplicity and focusing on the product's signature details and design. The "Signature Event" campaign reflects the brand's captivating vehicles through balletic sequences and dynamic shots with pinpoint accuracy accompanied with a distinctly crafted soundtrack composed of various Genesis vehicle sounds over top.

"Every detail of the Genesis 'Signature Event' campaign was meticulously thought out to help provide an immersive and elevated experience for our customer's viewing," said Wendy Orthman, executive director of marketing at Genesis Motor America. "From the lighting to the music soundtrack that features a personal touch of welcome chimes, key fob beeps, and EV sounds – consumers are able to explore the brand's timelessly designed vehicles that we have to offer in an enhanced visual connection."

The visually contemporary ads are shot entirely on a Volume Stage to help create a one-of-a-kind viewing experience. Shooting on the Volume Stage provides dynamic lighting and texture effects to focus on the various exterior and interior details of the vehicles. Each ad also features crafted backgrounds that enhance the feeling and tactility of those details as well as a music track produced of various Genesis vehicle sounds that heightens the sensation of being in one of these vehicles.

The "Signature Event" marketing campaign was developed in collaboration with Genesis' agency of record, INNOCEAN USA.

"To stand out and break the typical sales event mold, this latest campaign employs dynamic and evocative design and animation to evoke the feeling of luxury - in a way we've not seen from any luxury car brands," said Marcella Coad, Group Creative Director at INNOCEAN USA.
