NAVAL ARCHITECTURE OVERVIEW

For #sirena 64” - says  German Frers  in charge of the  naval architecture
exterior #design and engineering
-there are three optional interior layouts of generous volume for serious world family cruising in great comfort including large glass windows for a good view to the sea and plenty of natural light. The hull #design was developed in depth, including testing of three families of models at the Wolfson Unit towing tank facility in Southampton (UK). In addition, sea keeping tests were conducted on a self propelled 1/3 scale model of the hull”.

The result? It’s a pleasant sea kindly low drag canoe body capable of planning at high speed or cruising in semi-displacement, low fuel consumption mode. The hull stability is well matched to the needs of the gyroscopic stabilizers to insure cruising or anchoring in great comfort. “All in all I am satisfied to say working with the #sirenamarine Team including the interior designer Tommaso Spadolini we have created an aesthetically attractive motor #yacht that will appeal to a great number of mariners and their families”, continues Frers.

EXTERIORS OVERVIEW

The first model of the range is #sirena #64 that, compared to others of similar size, features greater fuel and water capacity together with a 2 x CAT C12.9 – 850Hp that gives higher maximum speed up to 27 knots. The yard will provide the option of more powerful engines as well.

Generally, compared to its main competitors, the semi-displacement hull of #sirena #64 is expected to be approx. 20% more efficient in consumption at most expected cruising speed of 16 knots. At 10 knots of economy speed #sirena #64 arrives at a consumption of 48 l/h for a range of approx 1.000 NM.

Furthermore, #sirena #64 is characterized by a 38sqm flybridge where to enjoy the amazing sea view and breath clean air. The openable hardtop let the customer and guests enjoy the flybridge even during difficult sun hours.

Cockpit is clearly something to be used for welcome cocktails, relaxing moments, breakfast and light lunch. The double link with the platform implies easiness of communication and movement to the platform, a real private beach.
