Visionnaire turns one year old as a Benefit Company, defining its business approach by promoting positive and essential values within the community. By virtue of its transformation, #visionnaire resolves, in the course of its business activities, to conserve a balance covering the following goals of common benefit.

To conserve and develop a deep connection with the territory, protecting and enhancing its unique characteristics and pursuing opportunities for shared growth with the local business community, through the model of diffused manufacturing. The brand invests in the development and protection of Italian crafts know-how and the creative talent of master artisans, through material and immaterial investments in its own workshops.

The brand has nominated one of its craft districts for the MAM - Maestro d’Arte e Mestiere award organized by Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte, in collaboration with ALMA, the International School of Italian Cuisine. The district nominated by #visionnaire – specialized in working with marble – has won the award dedicated to excellent Master Artisans operating in 23 different categories of arts and crafts.

The focus on the environment is reflected in the entire production cycle, and takes concrete form into the research for padding made with alternative and less harmful processes for our planet.

Visionnaire has introduced new padding in one of its iconic seats, the Ca' Foscari sofa by Alessandro La Spada, combined with a memory foam with the use of high percentages of polyols of plant origin, which replace part of the raw materials of fossil origin. This product has excited a jury of specialists in eco-design and sustainability for its concept and #design and it is the Winner of the 2022 Archiproducts #design Awards in the Sustainability category.

Wellness and sustainability also translate into the choice of innovative performing fabrics and leathers through recycling logics and a low impact production process, representing a new technological and sustainable milestone. This commitment resulted in a new project, a sample book titled Re-Generation, entirely on fabrics and leathers that comply with criteria of low environmental impact. In this special selection of materials, each single fabric is

provided with a technical sheet containing details about composition, spinning, weaving, cultivation systems and raw materials’ traceability.

Presented in the 13th edition of the GreenItaly 2022 Report, created by the Symbola Foundation and Unioncamere, #visionnaire is counted among the Italian companies that manage to compete by focusing on sustainability, cohesion and beauty.
